Colonial Parkway: Operated by the National Park Service the
Colonial Parkway is a scenic drive connecting Jamestown,
Williamsburg and Yorktown on a winding drive along the James and
York rivers. A favorite for afternoon drives or bike rides, or stop
off at one of the beaches for some sun and fishing.
New Quarter Park: Located next to the Colonial Parkway this
treasure offers a tranquil, wooded setting for mountain biking,
hiking, fishing and picnicking. Rentals not available.
Waller Mill Park: Located along the Waller Mill Reservoir
this beautiful and convenient park features hiking trails, picnic
areas and a number of boat rentals: canoes, kayaks pedal boats or
row boats. A local favorite there are also a number of playground
areas.
York River State Park: Experience the environment of a costal
estuary. Known for its rate and delicate environment where fresh and
saltwater meet to create a habitat rich in marine and plant life.
Special features include moonlight canoe trips, and ghost night
hikes. Rentals include bicycles, kayaks canoes and paddle boats.

Yorktown Waterfront: On the York River at historic Yorktown
this beachfront offers a relaxing day for all whether its fishing ,
relaxing in the sun or picnicking in eth beack picnic area. Perfect
for families in a peaceful no hassle setting, also adjacent to the
dining and shops of Riverwalk Landing.
