Busch Gardens Williamsburg's

Howl-O-Scream

Each weekend September 23 though October 30 Busch Gardens transforms for its twelfth consecutive year of Howl-O-Scream.  Expect the unexpected with bone-chilling excitement and special themed elements.  The park is safe for goblins of all ages before 6pm when it is considered "kidsiderate." Be sure to take your little ones to lunch or dinner with Count Von Count, a Halloween themed show featuring Sesame Street characters.  After 6pm no place in the park is safe, be prepared to be scared at any time.

Several Halloween themed shows will be shaking this up this year.  In the Oktoberfest section of Germany you will find Frankenrock, a rock and roll show where Frankenstein and all of his band mates rock the house.  Although it sounds harmless, beware this rates a four pumpkin "scary" on the official Busch Gardens scare guide. For a show that's a little less scary but still lots of fun visit Jack is Back in the Ireland section of the part where you will pay homage to Jack-of-the-Lantern.

Several haunted houses are scattered throughout the park in virtually every country.  With names like Cursed, Bitten and Hunted, is it any wonder that these spooky spots have earned the highest of scare ratings and should be reserved only for older teens and adults.  Only the bravest of souls should dare explore these areas.

Howl-O-Scream is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 24 - October 31.  The park is open until 10pm on Friday and Sunday and 11pm on Saturday. Tickets to Busch Gardens and other attractions may be added after selecting your room.  Are you brave enough?
