Here at Busch Gardens, beautiful 17th-century European countryside
meets out of this world rides. In late spring 2007 visit for the
opening on Griffon, the world’s tallest dive coaster. Griffon will
reach heights of 205 feet and then drop riders at 70 miles per hour
straight down at a ninety degree angle. You might also want to try
Alpengeist, a twisted roller coaster, sending you on countless spins
and flips, or for the ultimate in heights discover Apollo's Chariot,
the hyper coaster designed to reach great heights and super speeds.
With the first plunge being 210' you will plummet a total of 825'
before the ride comes to an end.
For children, there is the Land of the Dragons. With a variety of
rides just their size, a giant house to climb and plenty of water
activities, your little ones will be sure to keep busy.
After a busy day you may want to take in a variety of musical shows
offered at the park. A number of Broadway-style shows are featured
throughout
Busch Gardens including Emerald Beat, the Irish Dance phenomenon,
American Jukebox featuring everyone’s favorite classics, or perhaps
the an authentic Italian dinner show while enjoying Busch Garden’s
award winning authentic cuisine.
With its old European setting, you will find authentic treasures
throughout the many shops located in the park. The shopping and
rides are only outshined by the authentic European fare. Whether
